One of the most visited place here in the Philippines is Zambales. Almost 4 hours drive from Manila before you reach the place. Many nice beach with clean white sand hides here. My partner and I love to travel far far away places. Some quite and romantic places where we can be ourselves and free from busy work loads.
Upon searching a place to have our post Valentine’s getaway, I happened to passed the Facebook page of Casa Angelina. Scrolling some photos and checking reviews from legit visitors. make me decide to take our first early summer-like post-valentines date in Zambales.
I drove almost 6 hours from Manila. I learn my lesson not to rely what Google Map says. I forgot that Philippines is celebrating a long weekend since Monday is the celebration of EDSA . I was caught in deadly traffic in EDSA and have-mercy road construction everywhere in North bound. Maybe, if we left earlier I am 100% sure we get there before dinner time.
We arrived Casa Angelina just before dinner time, around 5:58 pm. We were greeted with a sweet smile from one of the resort’s staffs and show us our Beach Front room. The room was very very very nice that I might want to lie down instead but my tummy says “YOU MUST FEED ME”.. Ow well, I am weak whenever my tummy asked me that favor. hehehehe.
The food serve by the resort was superb and I can’t resist to finish it all. It was a complete meal. The owner and staffs are so accommodating and always ready to help whenever we need assistance.
Our first morning at the resort is very calm and the air so breezy. The smell of the sea is so refreshing that we can’t help ourselves not to soak at the beach. We stroll a little on our bare foot and just enjoying the warm feels of the white sand. The beach is so clean and never did I see a single trash around the beach.
It is safe to have a romantic walk even during the evening, the sea is calm and the place is safe to have a sweet moment with your love ones. Small talks and laughter is what we did during our stay in Casa Angelina. The meal is serve at Casa Luzviminda, the other resort which is also the owner of Casa Angelina. Their food taste so good and the staffs served with the smile which adds up to good points of this resort.
The resort have two Beach front room and 2 Garden view rooms . Each room can accommodate up to 6 pax or more. The room is romantic for a couple and at the same time good for big groups. The room is clean and have a private bathroom, a refrigerator, an electric kettle and stuffs for toiletry.
There is a volley ball net if you visit here with friends or family. And even set up small tents near the beach if the weather permits.
At the afternoon, all we did was sit at the front of our room and just a small laughs and snacks. The both of us enjoys this kind of simple relaxation away from busy street of the city.
We promised the owner that we will visit here again and bring Nanay with us so she got to experience the cleanliness of the beach. The calmness of the place makes us want to stay for another night but we need to get back to reality. After all, this is not the last but only the start of our many visit to this place.
